Journalists continue to do pieces on San Clemente because of it's convenient location and unique small town ambience.
San Clemente is a friendly, tight knit community tucked away on a hillside overlooking the SoCal Pacific Ocean. It is also ideally located between Los Angeles and San Diego Airports. To find such a quait town in an area as populated as Southern California is rare.
We are still so small that the homecoming queen of San Clemente High School still rides down main street (Avenida Del Mar) on the student designed homecoming float...and everyone comes out to see it! THAT'S SMALL TOWN, FOLKS!
