San Clemente State Beach
The San Clemente State Park area sits high above the Pacific Ocean atop the bluffs. What a view!
The picnic areas have 180 degree views of the ocean and surrounding communities of San Clemente and Dana Point, great place to throw a family reunion or party.
The park facilitates both Recreational Vehicle style camping as well as conventional tent camping.
All the 160 campsites have a fire ring, picnic table and shade ramada, with water nearby.
The RV area accommodates 72 Recreational Vehicle’s with water, electrical and sewage hookups.
The group camping area can accommodate 20 vehicles with trailers and 50 people.
Both the family campground and group campground have hot showers, flush toilets and a sink area (thank god).
The picnic areas can be reserved for a single family or a group.
There are only two group picnic areas so reserve early for your desired dates.

During the winter you can get a spot Monday thru thursday without a reservation but for the weekends or any day in summer a reservation is a MUST.
